I started EllieGrace Baby as a way to help our growing family while also being home and homeschooling our children. It's been quite an adventure, and I've learned a lot along the way!

While being able to teach my children how to read, write, and learn their math facts has been a wonderful blessing, the most important lessons I've taught my children were not found in textbooks. They are taught through our daily interactions, as we strive to live our lives for Jesus, and to teach our children about His amazing love and promises for us. I believe this is the most important thing we can give our children to help them navigate through this difficult world.

God's word promises us:

Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. (Prov.22:6)

In order to train up our children in the right way, we must be going that way ourselves. I once heard someone say that you can point your children in one direction, while leading them in another. If we want our children to follow Jesus, we must be followers ourselves.

No matter where you are at right now in life, it's never too late to start learning about Jesus and understanding the wonderful gift and promises that He has for you!
