    Materials

    Quilts are made with 100% cotton materials on the front. They have a cotton blend batting in the middle (80% cotton/20% polyester), and your choice of minky (100% polyester) or cotton on the back.

    Organic upgrades are available!

    Minky is 100% polyester. It has a silky, soft feel.

    Care Instructions

    Machine wash in COLD water on a gentle cycle.

    DO NOT use fabric softeners if your quilt has a minky backing.

    Tumble dry on LOW or NO heat. We recommend removing minky items from the drier just before they are completely dry (minky dries fast!).

    DO NOT iron minky.

    The Highland Cow in Mint Patchwork Quilt is available in a baby or toddler size.  This quilt has shades of mint, dark green, gray, and brown.  On the back is a soft hunter green dimpled minky that babies just love the texture of!  You can choose any minky or cotton print for the back of your quilt by adding it to your cart using the quilt backing menu selection.  Some suggestions are on the collection page.  The fabrics are completely customizable.  You can coordinate all your bedding and nursery items to match the fabrics in this on the Highland Cow in Mint collection page.

     

    Patchwork Quilts: Our quilts have 3 layers.  The top layer is pieced together with 100% cotton fabrics, and can have any cotton print, or minky on the back.  Sandwiched in the middle is a lightweight 80/20 cotton/poly batting.
