Quilts are made with 100% cotton materials on the front. They have a cotton blend batting in the middle (80% cotton/20% polyester), and your choice of minky (100% polyester) or cotton on the back.
Organic upgrades are available!
Minky is 100% polyester. It has a silky, soft feel.
Care Instructions
Care Instructions
Machine wash in COLD water on a gentle cycle.
DO NOT use fabric softeners if your quilt has a minky backing.
Tumble dry on LOW or NO heat. We recommend removing minky items from the drier just before they are completely dry (minky dries fast!).
DO NOT iron minky.
The Tropical Summer crib quilt features surfboards, parrots, and tropical florals in shades of mint green, shell pink and navy. It comes in a baby size that's perfect for the crib, or a toddler size that works great if your crib converts to a toddler bed. (It will cover the entire top and sides of the crib mattress).

Our patchwork quilts have three layers with a 100% cotton top, an 80% cotton blend batting in the middle and your choice of 100% cotton backing, or one of our silky soft minky fabrics for the back. We stitch all the layers together to create a long lasting heirloom that will be cherished for years to come.
Washing instructions:
Our quilts are made to be washed in cold water on a gentle cycle, and can be tumble dried on a low heat setting for approximately 15 minutes. If you choose a minky for the back of your quilt, be extra careful not to allow the minky to over-dry, and never use fabric softeners with minky. Do not iron minky.
Minky is a 100% polyester material. (This is the super soft material that stuffed animals are made from!)
